Barrow upon Zoom occurs as big village around northern Leicestershire, in the Soar Valley between Leicester and Loughborough. It has the people of about 5,000 & is section of the Charnwood local government district.
It lies, when its title indicates, on the east bank River Soar, and is good paired a A6 from Quorn. A village is on the Midland Main Line, and Ivanhoe Line trains stop at a Barrow-upon-Soar railway station.
the village is famed for with a plesiosaur excavated in it's past, in the place of the excavation site is nowadays the roundabout by having the sign indicating this. the actual bones get on display within a local Leicestershire museum.
